Metadata: DUNWICH BANK - Surveys 1994-2002
Abstract:
Pre-disturbance surveys undertaken between 1994 and 2002 by Suffolk Underwater Studies (SUS), in conjunction with remote sensing work by the Archaeological Diving Unit. This entry relates to pre-disturbance survey reports by SUS for the years 1996 - 2000 held by the NMR, and which include site plans, photograps, analyses of the cannon at the site. The archive also includes licence applications, the designation order for the wreck (dated 1994), dive logs, grab-sample plots, newspaper cuttings and miscellaneous correspondence. Archive dive logs, remote sensing plots and brief reports by the ADU are also held. Project dates given are derived from earliest and latest documentation in the 3 archive files.
