Metadata: Hornsea Project One OWF Stage 1 Intertidal Geoarchaeological Assessment
Abstract:
Maritime Archaeology Ltd. was commissioned by DONG Energy Wind Power A/S to provide a Stage 1 assessment of geotechnical boreholes recovered from the intertidal zone relating to the Hornsea Offshore Wind Farm Project One (the Project). This initial 'Core Log Assessment' comprises a review by a suitably trained archaeologist of the geotechnical core logs produced by the geotechnical contractor, undertaken to determine whether, from the sediment descriptions, there appear to be layers/sediments of archaeological interest. The review assessed all the geotechnical logs and reporting for the intertidal area of Hornsea Project One including a list of retained samples and photographs. Previous geoarchaeological reports covering the Project area were reviewed and recommendations for further Stage 2 work to be undertaken were included.

| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | Hornsea Project One OWF Stage 1 Intertidal Geoarchaeological Assessment |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 5ac1ac4d-0160-3e13-83e2-db0141277673 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | maritime2-319748 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | dataset |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2017-02-01 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2017-02-17 |
| Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
