Abstract:
Differential Global Position Systems (DGPS) are used during survey operations to accurately position all equipment (Vessel Centre-of-gravity [COG] reference point, Pinger, Sonar, Magnetometer, Sparker Common-mid-point [CMP]). After QC and smoothing of these positions, vessel track plots are produced. These track plot positions are then presented in UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA) P1/90 format.
