| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | Sub-bottom Profiler Raw Data, Vessel: M.V. Ocean Endeavour Equipment Type: Innomar 2000. Sub-bottom data recorded using hull mounted 16 element gondola Innomar transducer. Power Output â?? 5kW at a fire rate of 125ms. Central frequency â?? 10kHz. Recorded sweep time at 83ms. #Pulse cycles: 1. Sub-bottom data were recorded on Innomar SESWIN software in the industry standard 32-bit integer SEG-Y format, without any processing applied. All sub-bottom profiler data recorded was full-wave, with no rectified or clipped signal occurring. Navigation data were processed and raw data were opened in Voyager5 and manually checked and corrected for any spikes or erroneous points. Once data cleaning has been carried out a light smooth filter of 11 points was added to the data which was then exported in a sensor file format. Raw data was loaded into Gardline Limitedâ??s GeoFusion software and reviewed for line coverage, data clipping, aeration, interference, heave compensation and consistency of acquisition settings. Sub-bottom dataset was QCâ??d against bathymetry to QC horizontal positioning. Horizontal Data Resolution â?? 1.5m, Vertical Data Resolution â?? 0.2m. Sub-bottom Profiler Processed Data, Vessel: M.V. Ocean Endeavour Equipment Type: Innomar 2000. Power Output â?? 5kW at a fire rate of 125ms. Central frequency â?? 10kHz. Recorded sweep length: 83ms. #Pulse cycles: 1. Data were then loaded into ProMAX seismic suite for further processing as outlined: Time Frequency Domain (TFD) filter applied to remove sparker interference; True Amplitude Recovery and Static corrections to account for the transducer depth. Individual SEG-Y parts for a given line were concatenated to produce one SEG-Y on a line-by-line basis. Once complete, the final SEGYs will be created using Gardline Limitedâ??s GeoFusion software. In GeoFusion edited corrected navigation files were applied to the data and the seabed mapped. De-spiking of the seabed took place where appropriate. Corrected SEG-Y files were then exported on a two-step basis: (1) GPS tides were applied on a trace-by-trace basis using a single fixed velocity and (2) SEG-Y files were exported using LAT 1m grid to generate a bulk shift to match the seabed. Horizontal Data Resolution â?? 1.5m, Vertical Data Resolution â?? 0.2m. Sub Bottom Profiler Navigation Files, Vessel: M.V. Ocean Endeavour Equipment Type: Fugro Starpack Navigation System. Navigation Data Processing carried out using Gardline in House Voyager5 Software. Raw navigation data were opened in Voyager5 and manually checked and corrected for any spikes or erroneous points. Once data cleaning has been carried out a light smooth filter of 11 points was added to the data which was then exported in a gnv format. Total Positional Uncertainity derived from Fugro Starpack. Navigation System - 0.1m. Every positions update and interpolated is plotted - data is not decimated. Dataset Title: Tidal Height, Vessel: M.V. Ocean Endeavour Equipment Type: Innomar 2000. Sub-bottom data recorded using hull mounted 16 element gondola Innomar transducer. Navigation Data Processing carried out using Gardline in House Voyager5 Software. Total Positional Uncertainity derived from Fugro Starpack. Navigation System - 0.1m. Tidal elevations and positioning are derived by post-processing GNSS and motion data logged throughout the survey period. The tide file produced is applied to the SBP data in GeoFusion, the surface is then reduced to the COG and a static offset is applied to reduce the COG to the transducer depth. The GNSS heights and positions are reported in ETRS89 (2018.0) reference frame, referred to the GRS80 reference ellipsoid. SBP Motion Application, Vessel: M.V. Ocean Endeavour Equipment Type: Innomar 2000. Sub-bottom data recorded using hull mounted 16 element gondola Innomar transducer. Raw data was converted in SESConvert software (version 2.3.1.9) and a motion application file is then extracted from this. Horizontal Data Resolution â?? 1.5m, Vertical Data Resolution â?? 0.2m. Interpreted horizons in depth and time, Vessel: M.V. Ocean Endeavour. Equipment Type: Innomar 2000. Sub-bottom data recorded using hull mounted 16 element gondola Innomar transducer. Horizontal Data Resolution â?? 1.5m, Vertical Data Resolution â?? 0.2m. All gridded time surfaces were depth converted using the seabed DTM, converted to time using a seismic velocity of 1500m/s derived from TS dips taken during the project. These grids were then converted to horizon files and the depth-based sub-surface interpretation datasets produced using IHS Kingdom Suite 8.8. Horizons included: H20. Total Positional Uncertainty derived from the Starpack Navigation System - 0.1m. Gridding of horizons, Vessel: M.V. Ocean Endeavour. Equipment Type: Fugro Starpack Navigation and Gondola Mounted sub bottom profiler package (Innomar 16 element gondola transducer). Horizontal Data Resolution â?? 1.5m, Vertical Data Resolution â?? 0.2m The sub-bottom profiler data were examined for any potential seismic reflection events using IHS Kingdom Suite 8.8. Interpretation was undertaken manually. Horizons included: H20. All interpreted horizons were gridded in time using IHS Kingdom Suite 8.8 interpretation project using flex gridding with a 10m cell size, 100m from control points using min curvature and a smoothing of 11. The time grids were then compared to the source interpretation to ensure the gridding is representative before being exported as an ASCII file of xyz format. Total Positional Uncertainty derived from the Starpack Navigation System - 0.1m. |
