| Other details | ||
| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 2791 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | Fish Recovery Zones |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | ba7153258021d989b0b2587206f921a0 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | MMO-1500030 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | dataset |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2012-09-28 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2012-09-29 |
| Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
| Abstract | The abstract provides a clear and brief statement of the content of the resource. | Digitised fish recovery zones around Great Britain, including: 1. Cod Recovery Zone (CRZ) 2. Sole Recovery Zone (SRZ) 3. Biologically Sensitive area 4. Celtic Sea closure area |
| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | This data was digitised from legislation and expert knowledge provided by Fisheries Management Control Operations. The CRZ is made up of a number of ICES areas (IVc, VIId, IVb, IVa, VIa and VIIa) and North of Scotland follows the Continental Shelf limit (co-ordinates can be found in Schedule 1 of The Continental Shelf (Designation of Areas) (Consolidation) Order 2000 No.3062). The SRZ is ICES area VIIe inclusive. The Celtic Sea closures occur annually between 1 February and 31 March in ICES rectangles, 30E4, 31E4 and 32E3. Finally the Biologically Sensitive area was digitised following the co-ordinates supplied in Article 5 of the COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 494/2002 19 March 2002. Dataset has been reviewed under the MMO quality assessment process. |
