Metadata: Plymouth Sound EMS Subtidal monitoring
Abstract:
This project was designed to enable the condition of the Plymouth Sound cSAC to be assessed against the targets for the features listed in the table below. This required diving fieldwork to establish a baseline of information against which the site condition could be assessed in the future and which could also be used in a comparison with extant data sets. The methods used broadly followed those outlined in the Procedural Guidelines in the Marine Monitoring Handbook (Davies et al. 2001). Fieldwork was carried out during 2003, with the data collected establishing a quantitative baseline of information for the site. Comparisons were made between these data and other data from various surveys since 1985, including quantitative data from monitoring trials carried out in 1998 and 1999.

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 2881 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | Plymouth Sound EMS Subtidal monitoring |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | c13d473afbf545a4bbef0aa2d78b0989 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | MREN050000000002 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | dataset |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2003-01-01 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2021-04-16 |
| Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
