Metadata: 2019 South Skye Seas Initiative Underwater marine life observation in Loch Scavaig
Abstract:
Survey to detect seagrass presence or absence using BlueRov2 from survey boat. Water Linked Underwater GPS used; however GPS location determined from survey boat location as underwater GPS system not working. The GPS accuracy therefore reflects the maximum error - the maximum distance the ROV could be from the boat is the 150m tether.
Data holder:
NatureScot (HQ Inverness)

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | Methodology for survey followed NatureScot's community-led marine biodiversity monitoring handbook, method 3.1. Polecam was dropped into water from vessel with video footage taken of benthos. |
