Metadata: AquaticEye v0.2 - Beta user notebook
Abstract:
AquaticEye is a AI model trained to detect species in underwater imagery capture in UK waters. It was developed at Plymouth Marine Laboratory to evaluate the capability of AI models to automatically count species from videos. This notebook is a beta demonstrator of this model for non-expert users. This tool was created as part of the Defra Marine Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment Programme (mNCEA).

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 11597 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | AquaticEye v0.2 - Beta user notebook |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | dbcc1386-8146-4053-a631-7f6679ec5fb0 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | service |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2025-03-06 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2025-03-06 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
