Metadata: East Anglia 3 (EA3) Offshore Windfarm Inter-array Cable - As Trenched MBES_3
Abstract:
Andrews Survey provided MBES data collection and processing services to Helix Robotic Solutions, Seaway7 and East Anglia Three Limited for Inter Array Cable Trenching of the offshore windfarm. Each cable was surveyed post burial. The data was aquired using WROV mounted R2 Sonic 2024 Multibeam Echosounder and the cable was followed, where buried, with an Innovatum Smartrak pipetracker system. Soundings were measured using the MBES and IPS instruments. Tidal reductions were calculated using GNSS height and vessel draft, then corrected to LAT using VORF model. Data is presesnted in georeferenced raster in tif format based on a 0.25m bin size.

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | Each cable was surveyed with a single pass of a dual head WROV mounted MBES at 0.5 metre altitude. Soundings were cleaned, corrected for motion, sound velocity, depths were adjusted to LAT using GNSS height and VORF model. Soundings were gridded at 0.25 m cell size using a mean estimator. Output exported as georeferenced raster in .tif format. |
