Metadata: 2012, EGS, Lynn and Inner Dowsing Offshore Wind Farms, Presence/Absence of Annex I Habitats at the Proposed Jackup Footprints ID18 and ID19
Abstract:
An investigative environmental survey was carried out at two proposed jack-up footprint locations situated within the Inner Dowsing wind farm owned by GLID Wind Farms TopCo Ltd, located off the coast of Skegness (Lincolnshire). These two locations were in close proximity to turbines ID18 (location L) and ID19 (location M). The survey was carried out by EGS International from the inshore survey vessel “Wessex Explorer”, assisted by Benthic Solutions Limited. The survey was designed to establish the presence or absence of potential Annex I habitats at these locations prior to deployment of a jack-up vessel for maintenance activities. Operations were based on a seabed sampling at the proposed footprint centre, with additional seabed photography and video out to a radius of 25m from the central point. Please note the bathymetry and side-scan sonar data referenced in the report is only present within the "2012, EGS, Lynn and Inner Dowsing Offshore Wind Farms, Post Construction Hydrographic and Geophysical Survey" series.
