Metadata: 2019, Structural Lifecycle Industry Collaboration, The Crown Estate Research, S-N Curves and Guidance for Fatigue Assessment of Butt Welded Thick Steel Plates based on Large Scale Tests
Abstract:
Structural Lifecycle Industry Collaboration (SLIC), is a Joint Industry Project with the participation of Offshore Wind Operators, the UK Department for Energy and Climate Change and The Crown Estate. It has the technical support of Cranfield University, Siemens WP and certification bodies DNV-GL and Lloyds Register The aim of the project was to improve the understanding of fatigue in offshore wind farms, and enable the design of new structures to be optimized accordingly.
Data holder:
The Crown Estate

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 18996 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2019, Structural Lifecycle Industry Collaboration, The Crown Estate Research, S-N Curves and Guidance for Fatigue Assessment of Butt Welded Thick Steel Plates based on Large Scale Tests |
| Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | S-N Curves and Guidance for Fatigue Assessment of Butt Welded Thick Steel Plates based on Large Scale Tests |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 14561c4c-4cf7-47cd-92b0-d1a3000cd198 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | TCE-2115 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2019-03-04 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2019-03-04 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
