| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | The offshore operations for this project were performed from the survey vessel M.V iXPlorer between 28thAugust – 15th Oct 2010. Demobilisation commenced on the evening of 15th Oct 2010 completing on the following day. The vessel was fitted with a RESON 8101 Multibeam echosounder and Atlas Deso30 Single beam echosounder. For sub-bottom profiler data a side-mounted GeoAcoustics 5430A Pinger and a Georesources Sparker were used. A Klein 3000 side scan sonar interfaced with a Geometrics G882 magnetometer was also utilised. Positioning was provided by a Trimble SPS850 and Trimble SPS351 reference systems in combination with an iXSea Octans 1000 gyro compass and an iXSea GAPS USBL system. The vessel was de-mobilised in Dundee, Scotland. Final processing and rendering of data was conducted at iXSurvey Office in Edinburgh, Scotland. |
