Abstract:
This project examines the environmental effects of the proposed overhead line connection works at Cleve Hill near Faversham, Kent for the London Array offshore wind farm. The environmental assessment was carried out by National Grid. National Grid has applied to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989 for consent to undertake overhead line works to facilitate the electrical connection of the London Array wind farm development to the national high voltage electricity tranmission system.
