Metadata: 2012-2013, SSE Renewables, Costa Head, Osiris Geophysical Survey
Abstract:
Osiris Projects were commissioned in August 2012 by SSE Renewables, Costa Head Wave Farm Ltd and Brims Tidal Array Ltd to carry out three contractually separate geophysical surveys around Orkney, at Costa Head, Westray South and Brims, to assess the suitability of the locations for the potential installation of wave / tidal generators, beginning with the associated cable routes. Surveys were undertaken during different periods of 2012 and 2013. The main objective of the surveys were: 1. To undertake site surveys to support the technical, environmental and economic appraisal of the development sites, including their grid connection corridors. 2. To provide sufficient data so that specific locations can be identified for wave and tidal generators, inter array cabling route options and delineations of the preferred export cable route to shore, from each site.

| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2012-2013, SSE Renewables, Costa Head, Osiris Geophysical Survey |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 2a467083-834e-4d0b-bc77-bf645fdea3b0 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | C13007 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | dataset |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2012-08-17 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2013-09-28 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
