Abstract:
The purpose of the investigation was to ascertain whether any additional information could be gleaned from the data sets that would elucidate the nature of the underlying bedrock. In particular emphasis was placed on the identification of structures such as faults and fissures within the rock masses In general the rock present within the survey area is metamorphic massive Gneiss which displays little in the way of bedding planes. As such identifying faults has not been possible. However it appears that a certain amount of weathering has occurred and this appears as fissures (cracks) within the rock surface
