Metadata: 2019, Seastar Survey, Chichester Harbour, Sediment Survey
Abstract:
Sediment Particle Size Analysis, analysed in March 2019 by Seastar Survey Ltd., of Chichester Harbour Approach Channel grab samples prior to a maintenance dredge of the approach channel, as part of the South Hayling Beach Management Plan (2017-2022(24)). These data were collected from a Seabed Survey License. A Seabed Survey Licence enables applicants to undertake a range of small scale, temporary activities offshore, which physically interact with the seabed. As they are smaller individual surveys, not all of the deliverables comply with the MEDIN Guidelines required for other data on the Marine Data Exchange. If you have any queries regarding the contents of this series, please do get in touch with us at mde@thecrownestate.co.uk.

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 19095 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2019, Seastar Survey, Chichester Harbour, Sediment Survey |
| Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | Sediment Survey |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 3d54c0e5-826e-4a2b-b282-f754ae1a9964 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | TCE-3990 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2019-03-18 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2019-03-18 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
