| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | The method of investigation comprises of borehole construction, field testing and survey of the seabed and the survey was generally carried out in accordance with BS 5930:1999. Borehole works were carried out from the Jack Up Platform FES1 of the proposed wind farm location. The sea bed cone penetration tests were carried out in the Docking Shoal and Race Bank sites from the offshore ship Venture. Please refer to Figures B and C of Appendix A for further information on this. Table 1 in Appendix A gives a summary of borehole type, locations, seabed levels and rig operators, while Table 2 in Appendix A has a summary of the leg penetration. Details of the in-situ sampling and testing carried out and description of the strata encountered can be found in the General Notes on Exploratory Hole Records (KS/01 to KS/06) in Appendix A. |
