Metadata: 2010, DONG Energy, Gunfleet Sands 3 - Demonstration Project, Environmental Statement
Abstract:
The following Series contains the Gunfleet Sands 3 Demonstration Project (GFS 3 Demo) Environmental Statement (ES), including the accompanying appendices and non-technical summary. The Project submitted this ES as part of an application for consent to construct two demonstration turbines and inter-turbine cables (i.e. offshore works only). This ES documents all findings from the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which was undertaken in accordance with the relevant regulations and guidance at the time of writing. The ES for this project was prepared by RPS Energy in conjunction with specialist support from ABPMer, LDA Design, Anatec and Bond Pearce. A key point to note with regard to the scope of the EIA process for this project is the extensive data set currently available to inform the ES. This data primarily consisted of studies, surveys and assessments carried out in support of the GFS 1 and 2 ES's (GE Wind Energy, 2002; DONG Energy, 2007). This ES draws primarily upon data and impact assessments from the GFS 2 ES due to both proximity of study site and relevance of data. In addition, in carrying out the EIA for GFS 3 Demo, the baseline and impact assessment for the GFS 2 project were updated with data collected since the submission of the GFS 2 ES.

| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 541a22e7bdb550f15666946b7639fcd4 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | GFS3-18389662 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2010 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2010 |
| Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | This Series contains datasets and accompanying technical reports produced for the Burbo Bank Extension Environmental Statement (ES). The source, quality assurance, processing steps and background information is therefore variable dependent upon the individual topic, but is outlined within each technical report or accompanying the dataset. |
