Metadata: 2013, DONG Energy, Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm, Environmental Statement
Abstract:
The Walney Extension Environmental Statement (ES) accompanies the application for a development consent order (DCO) under the Planning Act 2008. The application was submitted by DONG Energy Walney Extension (UK) Ltd. and prepared pursuant to the Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2009. In preparing its application the Applicant had full regard to its duties under Schedule 9 of the Electricity Act 1989. This ES presents the finding of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the project. The ES describes the likely significant environmental effects predicted to occur as a result of development, operation and decommissioning of the project, whether alone or in combination with other projects in the same area. It supports, and was submitted as part of, the DCO application. The ES comprises a non-technical summary (NTS), the main report (Volume 1, consisting of four parts (A-D)) and Annexes (Volume 2). Volume 1: - Part A - Introduction, project design and policy context - Part B - Offshore environmental assessment - Part C - Onshore environmental assessment - Part D - Overarching chapters

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 4737 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2013, DONG Energy, Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm, Environmental Statement |
| Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | Walney Extension Environmental Impact Assessment, Walney Extension EIA |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 5447a39342655c9b633555d50c59e7ef |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | WOW03-56973594 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2002-01-01 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2013-06-25 |
| Spatial resolution | This describes the spatial resolution of the dataset or the spatial limitations of the service. | inapplicable |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | For certain chapters, specialist technical reports have been undertaken as the basis of the EIA work. Either the studies themselves or the data associated with the studies has been provided in full as Annexes in Volume 2. |
