Metadata: 2014, GeoSurv Ltd., Skerries Tidal Site, Geophysical Microsite Analysis for Marine Current Turbines
Abstract:
GeoSurv conducted an data re-interpretation of the EMU (2208) and Osiris (2013) geophysical data in relation to the micrositing of the turbines within the defined Turbine Box Area. The purpose of the investigations was to ascertain any major geohazards that could be observed from the combined bathymetry, side scan sonar and sub-bottom profiler datasets. The focus of the study is to look at the water depth, distribution of sediments and where possible the thickness of surficial cover at the four primary and four secondary turbine locations
