Abstract:
Archaeology was commissioned by E.ON Climate & Renewables to prepare an archaeological assessment of marine geophysical data for the proposed development of Humber Gateway offshore wind farm and associated cable routes in the North Sea off Holderness, East Riding of Yorkshire. This assessment reviews sidescan sonar data and magnetometer data acquired by Osiris Projects between August and November 2008, and proposes modifications to the exclusion zones proposed for sites of archaeological interest in previous archaeological assessments
