Metadata: 2012, Environmental Resource Management, Zone 5 - Norfolk, Environmental Statement
Abstract:
This Environmental Statement (ES) has been prepared to support the consent application process for the East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm project under the Planning Act 2008. The East Anglia ONE project would consist of an offshore windfarm, offshore electrical infrastructure and onshore electrical transmission works. As stated in the Development Consent Order, the application is being made by East Anglia ONE Limited (EAOL). However this ES refers to East Anglia Offshore Wind Limited (EAOW) throughout in order to be historically consistent with the references to EAOW in the Scoping Reports and the Preliminary Environmental Information Report, as referred to later in this chapter.

| Other details | ||
| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 27570 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2012, Environmental Resource Management, Zone 5 - Norfolk, Environmental Statement |
| Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | Environmental Statement |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 776d68e0-2fb8-4bb2-9303-ff0cf37ae5f5 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | TCE-2561 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2012-11-01 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2012-11-01 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | asNeeded |
| Abstract | The abstract provides a clear and brief statement of the content of the resource. |
| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | The ES has been prepared to satisfy the requirements of the consenting procedures for offshore windfarms and to provide adequate environmental information for the purposes of EIA. The ES will also support EAOW’s application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) as described in Chapter 2, Section 2.5.2.3. This ES describes the impacts associated with the offshore windfarm plus the associated infrastructure on and offshore. The ES covers the whole of the proposed project, including the construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of the windfarm and associated infrastructure. The EIA has been carried out in accordance with the requirements of the EIA Directive (EC Directive 85/337/EEC as amended by Directive 97/11/EC). These Directives have been transposed into UK law by the Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2009 (the EIA Regulations). |
