Abstract:
This section of the Environmental Statement (ES) presents the results of a marine archaeology desk based assessment and geophysical survey analysis undertaken for the proposed Rampion Offshore Wind Farm (the Project). The section assesses the significance of the known marine archaeology resources within the offshore development footprint, cable route corridor and landfall (the Offshore Project), and the archaeological potential of these areas. The data contained in this series forms the baseline upon which further assessment of archaeological anomalies and subsequent findings will be published during / post construction.
