Abstract:
Partrac Ltd were contracted to carry out a sediment monitoring survey on two occasions during the piling of the foundations at the Ormonde offshore wind farm. occurred during a neap tide (6th May 2010) and during a spring tide (1st June 2010). No trace of elevated total suspended solids were detected at the distance at which the surveys took place, although slightly elevated TSS concentrations were detected after the cleaning of the pile interior. The conclusions of the report are that there was no substantial plume caused by the piling of the foundations at Ormonde.Turbidity measurements, Minibat files and Sonde realtime files (requires YSI Ecowatch to view and export).
