Abstract:
Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Ltd. contracted Fugro to perform geophysical, UXO and environmental surveys in the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm site, approximately 18 NM from the Lincolnshire coast and 25 NM from the Norfolk coast. The survey operations were performed onboard the Fugro Mercator during the survey period 8 July 2018 to 6 January 2019 and onboard Fugro Galaxy during survey period 17 December 2018 and 20 December 2018 . Survey operations were also performed onboard the M.V. Fugro Frontier during the survey period 23 July to 22 October 2018 and the nearshore survey operations onboard the Fugro Seeker during the survey period 25 June to 17 August 2018.

The performance of the survey instrumentation was constantly monitored by the online surveyor and online geophysicist. Any data quality issues were immediately highlighted and recorded in the online logs. Upon review, remedial action could be performed, and a decision made as to whether any reruns were required. Data quality was also monitored by the offline processors soon after data acquisition. Data storage, control and archiving of the data were undertaken in compliance with the PEP and Fugro’s data management policy. |
