| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2017, Rovco Limited, Wave Hub (Hayle), Installed Asset ROV and Bathymetry Survey |
| Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | Installed Asset ROV and Bathymetry Survey |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | 8d696251-e61e-437f-a1d4-515364a3670f |

| Abstract | The abstract provides a clear and brief statement of the content of the resource. | Rovco Limited was commissioned by Wave Hub Limited, under the project management of Offshore Marine Management Ltd (OMM), to conduct an ROV inspection and Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) campaign of the Wave Hub offshore electrical infrastructure including: - 33KV Export Cable - Four Cable Tails The report in this series contains an overview of the equipment, vessels and processes used to collect data during operations as well as providing evidence of the current state of the export cable and cable tail extensions. |
| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | In July 2017, MTS Xplorer was mobilised in Falmouth for MBES and ROV surveys, during this mobilisation only the multi-beam survey was completed. A further mobilisation was carried out on 12th August 2017 for ROV survey operations following a short weather break. On 26th August a second vessel, Severn Sea, was mobilised in Bideford, Devon, to complete the survey after a second weather break. Initially a MBES survey was undertaken to determine any large deviations of the cable route and the berm before undertaking the ROV survey. A Sub-Atlantic Mojave observation class ROV was then used to gain visual data of the cable route. The MBES survey showed little difference to previous years, except for the area which underwent additional remediation (rock dumping). Since the previous survey the berm has also become slightly less defined. |
