Metadata: 2004-2006, Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Studies, Westermost Rough, Seabird Survey and Assessment Programme
Abstract:
This project examines seabird surveys undertaken by the Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Studies at the site of the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm. These surveys were both aerial and boat based. The boat based surveys were carried out between August 2004 and July 2006. The aerial based surveys were carried out between September 2004 and June 2006. The majority of registrations made during the programme were for seabirds, largely Gulls and Auks, but with Divers and Terns also present.
