The Wind Lidar System was installed on the Jacky Platform (Oil & Gas). The selected Wind Lidar System will be WINDCUBE WSL7 made by LEOPSPHERE. The results are taken monthly begining in July 2011 and wind regime parameters supplied at 10 heights. Readings included in the excel spreadsheet include: Time (Tm), Average wind speed (Vhm), Deviation from average wind speed (dVh), Wind Direction (Azim). Oldhaum Services Ltd have been contracted to manage the Windcube Lidar data that output from the installation. This will be carried out for the 18 months of operation.

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | The Lidar system was installed on the Jacky platform by Wood Group. An agreement was signed with Ithaca Energy to allow use of the platform. This information has been provided in ASC/BINARY format. Each 2 weeks, a quality analysis and processing of data to ensure their validation will be carried out by Oldbaum Services Ltd. A periodic updated report is be delivered to assess the quality of the wind dataset. Excel documents are a processed and quality checked monthly output. |
