Metadata: 2014, Aspect Land and Hydrographic Surveys, Robin Rigg Offshore Wind Farm, Multibeam Bathymetric and Sidescan Sonar Survey
Abstract:
On the instructions of Norfolk Marine Ltd, multibeam bathymetric and sidescan sonar surveys were carried out at Robin Rigg Wind Farm. The survey was undertaken during the period 11 April 2014 to 3 May 2014, and covered the turbine rows and export cable corridor.

| Other details | ||
| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 5408 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2014, Aspect Land and Hydrographic Surveys, Robin Rigg Offshore Wind Farm, Multibeam Bathymetric and Sidescan Sonar Survey |
| Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | A5240 |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | ce8085f735d74a97af5feba1aa73887e |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | A5240 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2014-04-11 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2014-05-03 |
| Vertical extent (min) | A positive or negative decimal number, for example, the shallowest depth recorded if subtidal, or, if intertidal, the lowest point recorded. | 3.2 |
| Vertical extent (max) | A positive or negative decimal number, for example, the deepest depth recorded if subtidal, or, if intertidal, the highest point recorded. | 19.31 |
| Vertical extent reference | This descibes the vertical coordinate reference system as referred to in the EPSG register of geodetic parameters. (epsg-registry.org) | Chart Datum |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | biannually |

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | Aspect survey method: Survey lines shall be run at approx 500m c/c along with the turbine rows in two orthogonal directions to provide full swath coverage along a 100m wide corridor centred on each turbine row. The Contractor shall make sufficient passes to ensure full coverage of a 100m swath giving due consideration to water depth. In addition, further single echo-sounder runs shall be carried out midway between each pair of N-S turbine rows.
