Metadata: 2009-2010, SSE Renewables, Machrihanish Seabird Observatory, Kintyre Offshore Wind Farm, Ornithology Survey - Passage Report
Abstract:
This report summarises the ornithological data collected for SSE Renewables’ proposed Kintyre Offshore Wind Farm. The project has now been withdrawn therefore no further surveys will be undertaken. The annual reports summarise the bird activity recorded during boat-based bird surveys between November 2009 and December 2010. Data from seawatching vantage point records collected at Rubha na Faing (Frenchman’s Rocks), Islay, and Machrihanish Sea Bird Observatory, and information from other relevant literature have been used as supplementary information.
