Metadata: 2002, EMU, Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm, Technical Addendum
Abstract:
This Technical Addendum (TA) has been prepared in order to provide additional information on three specific issues in relation to the Kentish Flats offshore wind farm. This additional information has been prepared in order to confirm a number of uncertainties arising from the comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment presented in the Kentish Flats Environmental Statement (ES) completed in August 2002. It is not the intention of this TA to repeat the background to or the findings of the EIA process except for the three key issues for which this document has been specifically prepared. This TA must, therefore, be read in conjunction with and in the light of the full ES. Specifically, the objectives of the TA are to present: • A brief review of the original information presented in the ES, • A thorough review of the additional information collected, • And a review of the EIA of the proposed development. In respect of the three key issues as follows: • Offshore ornithology. • Bird species of conservation interest and associated conservation areas cited for bird species. • Onshore noise levels related to potential construction impacts.

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 5572 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2002, EMU, Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm, Technical Addendum |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | e48de580-ab49-417a-ae67-14ea2c8d8d3b |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | 10231 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2002 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2002 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | asNeeded |

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | The Technical Addendum, based on the review of the additional data presented and the assessments presented in the ES, supports the conclusion of the ES that the Kentish Flats offshore wind farm should be consented for all aspects, provided that the recommended mitigation and monitoring measures are reflected in the attendant licensing conditions. |
