Metadata: 2010, OPEN, Zone 1 - Moray Firth, Zone's of Theoretical Visibility (ZTVs)
Abstract:
OPEN produced Zone's of Theoretical Visibility (ZTVs) based for two scenarios of windfarm layout. Visual impact in this scenario is based on Telford being having 3.6MW turbines (152m blade tip height), Stevenson having 5MW turbines (148m blade tip height) and MacColl having 5MW turbines (148m blade tip height). The study area was limited to 50km from the nearest turbine. The impact of the windfarm in this scenario is limited to Morayshire, Caithness and the very southern tip of Orkney.
Data holder:
Crown Estate Scotland

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 19677 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2010, OPEN, Zone 1 - Moray Firth, Zone's of Theoretical Visibility (ZTVs) |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | efae1aca-ece1-40b1-b234-9ea80dadec12 |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | CES-321 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2010-11-18 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2010-11-18 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | continual |

| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | Windfarm layouts were supplied to OPEN by MORL in October 2011. Scenarios 1-5 were produced by MORL and ZTVs were produced under contract by OPEN for Scenarios 2 and 4. This is the ZTV for scenario 2. |
