Metadata: 2004, PMSS, Greater Gabbard, Environmental Statement
Abstract:
This series contains the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm Environmental Statement and it's corresponding Non Technical Summary document. Greater Gabbard Offshore Winds Ltd is proposing to construct a wind farm in the Outer Thames Estuary and associated infrastructure to facilitate export of power to the electricity transmission system. The proposed development is known as the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm. This document constitutes the Environmental Statement for the project, and presents the findings of the Environmental Impact Assessment undertaken since early 2004.

| Internal code | Internally assigned metadata identifier | 39818 |
| Title | The title is used to provide a brief and precise description of the dataset such as 'Date', 'Originating organisation/programme', 'Location' and 'Type of survey'. All acronyms and abbreviations should be reproduced in full. | 2004, PMSS, Greater Gabbard, Environmental Statement |
| Alternative title | The purpose of alternative title is to record any additional names by which the dataset may be known. | Environmental Statement |
| File Identifier | The File Identifier is a code, preferably a GUID, that is globally unique and remains with the same metadata record even if the record is edited or transferred between portals or tools. | fe097229-86ae-458e-9090-0fbdde873a6b |
| Resource Identifier | This is the code assigned by the data owner. | TCE-425 |
| Resource type | The resource type will likely be a dataset but could also be a series (collection of datasets with a common specification) or a service. | series |
| Start date | This describes the date the resource starts. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2004-01-01 |
| End date | This describes the date the resource ends. This may only be the year if month and day are not known | 2004-01-01 |
| Frequency of updates | This describes the frequency with which the resource is modified or updated i.e. a monitoring programme that samples once per year has a frequency that is described as 'annually'. | notPlanned |
| Abstract | The abstract provides a clear and brief statement of the content of the resource. |
| Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | The proposed Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm development comprises the installation, operation and subsequent decommissioning of an offshore wind farm in the Outer Thames Estuary, located approximately 23km (12 nautical miles) at its closest point from the Suffolk Coast. The wind farm comprises two arrays of wind turbines and associated infrastructure adjacent to and partly on two shallow underwater sandbanks known as the Inner Gabbard and The Galloper. The site straddles the UK territorial limit, so that the site lies both inside and outside UK territorial waters. The two wind turbine arrays and associated infrastructure are known as the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm. |
