Detailed species lists for most biotopes were done, based on an abundance scale. Biotope maps are digitised using GIS software. Geo-referenced photographs are available for all survey sites. Survey was initiated by Dorset Wildlife Trust in January 2009 and will continue until 2013 or until full coverage of Dorset intertidal is achieved.
