  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 75 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from specifically south west of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands and south east of the Falkland Islands in the vicinity of a peninsula of the Antarctic. The data were collected from December of 1984 to March of 1985. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the British Antarctic Survey as part of the Biological Investigations of Marine Antarctic Systems and Stocks (BIOMASS) programme.</dc:description>
