  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, in December 1995. It incorporates two components: a CTD survey of the Irish Sea including tidal cycle anchor stations off Sellafield and St.Bees; a CTD section into the Atlantic running NW from Lewis. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Lowestoft Fisheries Laboratory.</dc:description>
