It incorporates CTD sections between the Inner Hebrides/Scottish mainland and the Outer Hebrides. The data were collected by the Scottish Office Agriculture Environment and Fisheries Department Aberdeen Marine Laboratory as part a large scale hydrographic, chemical, biological and sediments survey.</dc:description>
