  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 63 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the South West Atlantic Ocean (limit 20W) area specifically from Stanley in the Falkland Islands to Signy, South Orkneys, and from Signy towards the Polar Front North of the Island of South Georgia, and from the Polar Front back to Stanley. The data were collected from October to December of 2006. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the British Antarctic Survey as part of the DISCOVERY 2010 project.</dc:description>
