  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 58 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the Bay of Biscay and the North East Atlantic Ocean (limit 40W) areas spicifically from the Bay of Biscay, round Galicia, then a latteral transect to approximately 21W, and a longitudinal transect up to 54N. The data was collected during April and May of 1989. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Institute of Oceanographic Sciences Deacon Laboratory.</dc:description>
