  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 86 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the Inner Seas off the west coast of Scotland, Irish Sea, St. George's Channel and the North East Atlantic Ocean (limit 40W) areas specifically from the north of Scotland down to the north west and north east of Ireland, and surrounding Northern Ireland. The data were collected during November and December 2005. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Fisheries Research Services Aberdeen Marine Laboratory.</dc:description>
