The oceanographic dataset collected during the research cruise identified as PD33/08 on board the RV Prince Madog dataset https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=006_509ed94fab305775ba2bd19466f9a756 This cruise dataset was collected during Prince Madog cruise PD33/08. Sampling of the water column comprised physical oceanography data (including salinity, currents, temperature, suspended particles) and biogeochemical data (including nutrient concentrations, dissolved gasses, pigment concentrations, fluoresence). Atmospheric data were also collected. Cruise PD33/08 sailed from Birkenhead on 22nd October, 2008 and docked on Birkenhead in 23rd October, 2008. During the cruise data was collected from sites situated in Liverpool Bay. This cruise was undertaken as part of the Oceans 2025 - Theme 10: Integration of Sustained Observations in the Marine Environment - Sustained Observation 11: Irish Sea Liverpool Bay observatory. Data has been provided to BODC by the University of Liverpool Department of Earth Sciences, the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory, the Centre for Environment and Fisheries and Aquaculture Science Lowestoft Laboratory. The data are held by the British Oceanographic Data Centre. During this cruise the ship visited the following repeatedly sampled locations: COA (53.5252 N, -3.3834 S), Coastal Observatory Site 33 (53.4582 N, -3.9218 S), Coastal Observatory Site 21 (53.4522 N, -3.6413 S), Coastal Observatory Site 24 (53.4535 N, -3.7865 S), Coastal Observatory Site 10 (53.4556 N, -3.2344 S), Coastal Observatory Site 11 (53.4512 N, -3.37186 S) and Coastal Observatory Site 12 (53.4513 N, -3.505 S). 20220110 20081209
