<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during January 1995. It incorporates two components. First, CTD sections and anchor stations were worked off the Tyne, Tees, Humber and Wash. Secondly, Cirolana sailed a track with CTD stations from East Anglia into the Thames Estuary, along the English Channel, around Cornwall into the Bristol Channel, around the Welsh coast to Sellafield and then back again to Lowestoft. The data were collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Lowestoft Fisheries Laboratory as part of the Joint Nutrient Study I (JoNuS).</dc:description>
