  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 78 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from the Irish Sea and St. George's Channel area at each trawling position specifically from the north of Scotland down to the north west and north east of Ireland including the waters around Northern Ireland. The data was collected during November to December 2004. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Fisheries Research Services Aberdeen Marine Laboratory.</dc:description>
