  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 55 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, within the North East Atlantic Ocean area. It incorporates parts of the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory Rockall via Anton Dohrn (Ellett Line) section and two east-west sections west of Benbecula and North/South Uist. Profiles were also undertaken in the Sea of the Hebrides. The data were collected during May and June of 1978. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.</dc:description>
