<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during June 1980. It incorporates a CTD grid comprising four E-W sections from 56.5N to 58N to the west of the Hebrides. The southernmost section extended further east (as far as Mull), taking in radiocaesium sampling stations across the shelf. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.</dc:description>
