  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, in September 1986. It incorporates a 13-hour anchor station with hourly profiles at 54.4 N, 3.82 W in the eastern Irish Sea, a section between Anglesey and the Isle of Man and two sections between the Isle of Man and the English coast. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Lowestoft Fisheries Laboratory.</dc:description>
