It incorporates CTD sections between the Inner Hebrides/Scottish mainland and the Outer Hebrides. The data were collected by the Fisheries Research Services Aberdeen Marine Laboratory as part of a large scale hydrographic, chemical and biological survey of the Minches area.</dc:description>
