  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, in January 1987. It incorporates two components: a 12-hour anchor station at 54 25 N, 3 49 W (half way between Sellafield and the Isle of Man); and CTD sections between the Isle of Man to Sellafield and Galloway to Anglesey. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Lowestoft Fisheries Laboratory.</dc:description>
