<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This dataset comprises 125 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during 4 April to 10 May 2004 on a trans-Atlantic section from Freeport in the Bahamas to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, covering the Florida Current at 27N, and subsequently across the Atlantic Ocean on a transect between approximately 24 and 27.5N.

A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Southampton Oceanography Centre as part of the Rapid Climate Change programme.</dc:description>
