  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 148 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the North Sea and Inner Seas off the west coast of Scotland areas. CTDs were specifically taken at multiple stations in each of the following lochs: Ewe, Torridon, Skiport, Shell, Meanervagh, Greshornish, Snizort plus Uig Bay and Voes: Stromness, Weisdale, Laxfirth, Ronas, Seli, Whitesness, Sandsound, Gruting, Basta, Whalefirth, Sullom plus Baltasound. Data were collected during April and May of 2005. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Fisheries Research Services Aberdeen Marine Laboratory.</dc:description>
